This session raises awareness and provides foundational knowledge on digital accessibility and its importance.

Public Disability access officers, anyone involved in steering, designing, or implementing digital projects.
Prerequisites Basic proficiency in using a web browser and office tools (computer, scanner, office software) is required.
Objectives By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Propose actionable plans as a digital accessibility officer
  • Manage projects or teams to ensure alignment with national, European, and international accessibility standards
  • Dedicate 30% of the session to implementing either a personal project or a group project guided by the trainer

  • Awareness of accessibility and steering accessibility in digital projects
  • Developing a digital policy project
  • Implementing open local governance
  • Designing and managing a secure digital identity
  • Educational technology to foster critical thinking
  • Managing a digital compliance project within an organization
  • Coordinating the 3 Ts: Time, Team, Technique
  • Hands-on collaborative workshop
  • Project presentation and evaluation
